Even before the Finnish Broadcasting Company, Lahti had a Radio Station for Radio Enthusiasts, starting in 1924. It broadcast its own program and broadcast the Broadcasting Program. Nowadays Lahti Radio is one of the provincial radios of YLE. The content of the Lahti editorial covers life, matter, phenomena, people and, of course, news.
